Vietnam’s most liveable coastal city is making a deliberate play for corporate groups. Da Nang has rolled out a pair of 2026 programs – one to deepen the visitor experience, one aimed squarely at meetings and incentives – backed by real discounts, new recognition awards, and perks for companies that come back.
Two programs, one clear target
In March 2026, the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the 2026 Tourism Stimulus Program, “Da Nang – Return to Origin“, alongside its dedicated MICE Promotion Program, “Da Nang – Elevating the MICE Experience.” Together they lean into what corporate buyers increasingly ask for: authentic culture, preserved nature, and experiences that feel genuine rather than generic.
The MICE program is tuned for corporate scale. Support applies to domestic groups of 70 or more and international groups of at least 30 – thresholds well within reach for most company offsites, sales kick-offs, and incentive trips.
What’s on the table for 2026
- More than 30,000 vouchers with discounts from 10% to 60% across accommodation, dining, entertainment, and wellness.
- Preferential pricing and added incentives for MICE groups returning to Da Nang for a second visit or beyond.
- A new “MICE – The Rising Wave” award recognising businesses that bring strong MICE groups to the city.
- Support thresholds set at 70+ (domestic) and 30+ (international) participants.
Why Da Nang works for corporate groups
Logistics are the quiet advantage. Da Nang’s airport sits roughly 15 minutes from its beachfront resorts, so delegates can be from gate to gala with minimal transfer fatigue – a real plus for tight incentive itineraries.
The city also carries serious meeting credentials. The Ariyana Convention Centre, the largest MICE facility in Vietnam, accommodates up to 2,500 guests and hosted APEC in 2017. Pair that with Hoi An’s UNESCO Old Town just down the coast and the Son Tra peninsula for eco and team activities, and a single program can blend conference, culture, and reward.
Easier to reach, easier to sell internally
Connectivity is improving in Da Nang’s favour. The city recently added budget-carrier routes linking it with Bali and Manila, widening the catchment for regional incentive groups, and it continues to target repeat visitors from South Korea, Japan, China, and across Southeast Asia.
One planning note worth flagging: the central coast’s most comfortable window for outdoor and beach programming runs roughly February to May, before the summer heat and the later-year rains. Build that into your date selection.
What it means for corporate planners
For 2026, Da Nang is positioning itself as Vietnam’s value-rich choice for incentives and retreats—genuine government backing, a discount stack worth factoring into your budget, and a resort-plus-culture mix that’s hard to replicate inland. The vouchers and repeat-visit perks reward early, well-organised bookings, so the agencies that engage now will capture the most value for their clients.
